How to grant to some users account creation privileges but no admin privileges?

I would like to grant some users the privilege of creating new accounts (access control to the "users" module), but I do not want them to have the privilege to change the admin account and password. (the admin is still god! they would be just sons of god or something)

Is this possible and how? Thanks.

Redirect Problem - htaccess - drupal does not take +

Hello Folks,

at the moment i change the cms from a kind of phpnuke to drupal.

To prevent Double Content, i redirceted the old urls the new drupal urls.

The Problem: The Old Urls used a + als Seperator!

Now the redirect in this case wont work:

RewriteRule ^article_word1+word2+word3_201$ http://www.domain.com/the-news-url.html [R=301,L]

So my Question is: How can i redirect the old urls with a plus (+) als seperator to the new url!

CSS question

Hi,
On the Mac using Safari, I am able to format a background block that changes color when you roll over it using the css below.
It's cool, because there is a picture that extends past the bottom of the background block leaving a bit of white space . On the PC however, the background extends all the way to the bottom of the picture, leaving no white sapce. Here's a link to the way I want it to display. Can anyone help?

drupal to full page gallery integration

i think the gallery module is excellent, however i am considering a full page gallery integration, instead of putting gallery into the drupal content area. I wonder if this could be a configuration switch of the gallery module so i can use the user integration or if some kind of linking already exists in gallery so i can link back and forth and eventually come up with a quick user compare script. any thoughts? thanks!-Jeff

Vanishing attachments

When I add an attachment to a node, it shows up after I click 'attach' to upload the file, but vanishes when I click either preview or save.

The user creating the node has permissions to upload and view attachments, this flexinode content type has 'attachments' enabled, upload module is enabled etc and I have added other attachments to the site without any problems. The attachment in question is hardly 100 kb, so no space issues either.

Any suggestions as to what might be wrong?
