I have put together a Drupal site for a non-profit organization that recently went live. One element of the site will be a "What's New" section, which currently is being done via a blog (bad idea?? Let me know!! I did ask before, and though I got some useful suggestions as to doing what I asked about, I didn't get any feedback about whether it was a good idea in the first place. My gut reaction is that it was not a good idea, but I'm still sufficiently new to Drupal not to know what the best solution is, and haven't got any positive feedback yet to set me on the straight and narrow. So feel free to set me straight.).
I have installed the 'access control' module, with the idea that some things might be posted for members only. This means that when creating content my editors can choose whether a post is accessible to anyone who accesses the site, or only to those who have an account and are logged in.
So far, there hasn't been any "members only" posts. Everything is designed for consumption by the general public. Unfortunately, it seems that some content is still being partially filtered. In particular, any attachments to a post are only accessible to logged-in administrators. The post itself is public, but attachments to the post only show up if you are logged in as an administrator. How do I make these attachments accessible to the world?
Here's an example: Go to http://www.pineridgeskiclub.ca/?q=node/104. The post refers to the attachments below, but unfortunately the attachments don't show up unless you are logged in as an administrator
