Post installation

This nearly three year old (and continuing) thread on cron jobs was most educative but still left me confused.

My host says that I only need to enter the following command through the cPanel interface to create a cron job (apart from the values for minutes, hours, days etc). A cron tab entry is automatically created and added to the /etc folder of my hosting account:

Suppose I had 100 different image nodes that I wanted to duplicate.

How would you copy these image nodes, and generate unique images for each new node ?

I'm having trouble customizing which page a user is redirected to after login. Instead of defaulting to the profile page, I want it switch it up. How can I do this?

How do I import multiple archived pages with Taxonomy and pathauto?

I have several issues of magazines I would like to import stories with in a taxonomy system. The articles are in a text format. Is it possible to import stories so that each article falls into their category(ies) and have them dated in the past?

I've searched this forum for options but because there's so many topics based on this that I've found myself learning about other issues but not pertaining to mine or if so, it wasn't very clear. Could anyone direct me to the answer?

Is it possible to add text sections (and/or custom html) between fields in the form creation section of the survey module? For instance, section titles before a group of questions. ie:

Section 1
Intro text
Q1.
Q2.
Q3.

Section 2
Intro text
Q1.
Q2.
Q3.

...

[Submit]

Very new to drupal, installed it for the first time yesterday.

I have installed drupal on my own linux box. But, I might want to move to a hosted solution, or to another box.

How do I do this without losing the stories. or books, or setup?
