Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

link to list specific books?

drupal 4.6.4

with taxonomy, I can create a link type taxonomy/term/14+15 which lists all items on a page with the specified terms

can i do the same thing with books? For example book/25+26

I've tried various combinations of the above for books but can only get it to produce a page listing ALL books vs. the specified books numbers

any insights are appreciated on how to generate that type of book listing

Split Up Admin sections

I was wondering if anyone has had experience splitting up the various administer pages that derive from the system.module into multiple permissions.

Currently admin permissions in 4.6 are

system module:
access administration pages
administer site configuration

When i enable administer site configuration for a new user they get all the admin-settings links as well as access to themes.

Has anyone tried splitt this up a bit like...

Book Module is timing out

Anyone have a solution or ideas on what would cause the top [ages of the book module to time out when it has about 800 - 1000 pages. in different categories. I have used this for the game cheat section of one of my sites. I am on the letter R for PlayStation 2 and cant get to the Main game cheat or PlayStation page. Is the Printer Friendly Pages part causing this ?

4.7 - Menu - Contexturally updating Secondarly Links

G'day,

The menu module in 4.7 is awesome.
However, I have a requirement where the secondary links menu should only display the secondary links of the parent menu item.

eg
imagine the menu structure is:

Yummy Food
>Cholcolate
>> Full Cream
>> peppermint
>> rocky road
>Ice Cream
>> Sorbets

When the primary menu is used to select yummy foods the natural behaviour is to populate the secondary links with chocolate and ice cream ( this works creat )

Permissions before and after login

My problem is that I want to have have one part of my site restricted, but available after they login. How do I go about setting this up?
Thanks!
