Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

Want a read-more link in book-review module

Hi
I have downloaded and installed the book-reviewmodule. It works fine with one exception and that I get no "read more"-link on the first page.

What do I have to add to the code to get such a link?

How to add RSS feed in other character encoding(s)

I need to make our drupal site output rss feed in other encoding(s) other than utf-8 (cp-1251/windows-1251 in my case). Some sites, that want to use our rss feed, can only handle it in specific encoding (I know... I tried to convince/help them fix their software but hit the wall).

Welcome Header

www.scubaboard.com/forums

This is an example of one mod for forums called a "Welcome Header." It's customizable, so it gives different messages based on whether or not you're a) not logged in, b) awaiting a validation email, or c) haven't done anything yet (using either posts or a set points system). Is there any mod for Drupal that does this? If so, I haven't been able to find it. And if not, I think it would be a very useful application.

Ajax Module

I am trying to install the ajax Spell Module. However, it says that it requires the ajax.module which is in the author's cvs sandbox.

How do I access that?

Thank you for your help.

how: copying code omits line breaks

I have a basic question. I tried to copy the code from a newly created module that a developer kindly posted in a comment. (the very useful module limits the number of posts. node 43197).

I simply used the mouse to highlight the text in the comment, did control c, then did control v in my wordprocessor (openoffice). It looked okay, but I lost all the line breaks, and it's one long wrapped line. the module does not work, perhaps because I lost the line breaks.

How do I correctly copy all the code that developers post in comments and not lose the line breaks?
