Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

theming the admin pages

How do I do this? I'm using a fixed background image along with translucent PNG backgrouds behind the content boxes of nodes and blocks. Only thing is this makes the admin pages unreadable. Is there an easy way just to make the admin page content default to a white backgroud?

I'm still learning CSS. Sorry if this is covered somewhere already, I searched around but to no avail.

Auctions?

Hi, I just got Drupal up and runnging with the ecommerce module. I was wondering if I could allow each user to have separate paypal configurations so they could use the auction module and then be paid when someone wins the item. Any ideas? Please tell me if I am not clear enough for you to understand.

Help with PHP/mySQL snippets to use with Dashboard

Hi there,

I'm just getting to grips with Drupal 4.7, and I'm trying to use the Dashboard module to achieve the following effect:

A particular part of my site is dedicated to Films. There are reviews, news and various other bits and pieces. Using the taxonomy module, I have a vocabulary called "Channels", of which "Films" is a term. I also have a vocabulary called "Types" of which "News", "Reviews" and "Opinion" are terms. I am trying to create three sections to my page.

The main feature at the top is the latest big film review, that is: taxonomy = film and taxonomy = reviews and sticky = 1. Below are two columns. The left is a list of other reviews: taxonomy = film and taxonomy = reviews. Finally, the right hand column would be taxonomy = films and taxonomy != reviews.

I am having trouble developing mySQL snippets that would achieve these three effects. Can anyone advise?

Latest film review:

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Other New Film Reviews | News and Opinion
                       | but not
                       | Reviews
                       |
                       |

Gallery - how to prevent direct viewing of gallery?

The most popular page on my site is the main page of the Gallery2 install.
How can I prevent this? I only want people to view my photos through the Drupal site and the /gallery/ mapping.
