Post installation

I would like to list all the projects in a block. When the user clicks on them they go to the [project]/issues page for that specific project. Any help would be appreciated. Payment can be made if this is difficult.

I am really stuggling to find the right way to set a fieldset styling for a form that i have created inside my site using friendselectric theme. I have tried deleting the main fieldset styling in style.css and it has no bearing! I have even tried something quite mad and used flexiblock to add an inline styling (inside the head of the template) of fieldset for that form page...but still no joy!

I know this is probably a stupid question, but...

...besides $user, what are the "global variables" in drupal? And where can I find a list of their "attributes", i.e., the things I can put after the

"->"

sign, .......... like "uid", etc., as in...

$user->uid

I know Drupal for a few hours so far.
I managed to instal it onto my ftp site. Then I got stuck.

I know only basics about html, php and css. Consider my words as a feedback from a beginner but also as a question.
I want to create a simple corporate site for one of our product.
I need a horizontal menu with few items..each of them having a leftsided vertical menu of subitems.
Each of subitems should contain a few static articles with a menu and text..eventually few also with pictures.
It is fairly easy,but we want to have room for a complex site, should that become necessary .

As I understand, Drupal is a component system.
For example, I searched ..where can I turn off that comment under the article
"By yonderboy at 01/24/2006 - 12:36 | add new comment" since I dont want that functionality..I could not find it.
I tried to change the font size of the article text only...also nothing. I search in styles.css file also.

I then searched the Drupal main site for reference projects. I hoped that there is an example project (corporate site, publishing site..etc..) with wizard and accompanying description..a complete guide ......something like a training through which I would learn more easily than reading the documentation..I would build that training site from scratch..then I could use the knowledge to build may own site.

There are no pictures in the documentation? Why? I fail to see the benefit :-/

Thanks all for taking the time to read. I installed Drupal in a multisite configuration and the individual sites worked fine running off the same database and sharing user and session info. The prefix was set as below array.
My problem is that now I can login to the individual sites however when I navigate to a new site, my session is not automatically active on the second site. There are also problems with logging off where the page still views as logged in. I am on an IIS server not Apache. Could this be the culprit? Thanks.

I am using Drupal to design the website of a piece of software I am making. The software is distributed electronically, by download.

When a user purchases the software, I want to create an account for him on the Drupal based site, so he can login. Then, on the navigation panel, I want to put a link to a private page which only registered users should have access to. On that page, there will be a link to get the full version of the software.
