Possible to link products? (e-commerce)

Hi.

I'm currently developing a webshop with Drupal but need to find out about something before I continue. Is it possible to link products with drupal? My customer wants this scenario:

When viewing in example a laptop, he wants me to list other products that directly relate to this product (extra power adapter, external cd-rom, carrying case and so on). He want to be able to pre-define these relations.

Create a node type with an extra "free-tagging" taxonomy field

I would like to clone the story node type with the addition of a single extra field linked to a specific taxonomy vocabulary.
Basically, I am creating a code examples library and want examples to include free-tagging "Verified on" field to let submitters specify on which SDKs they tested their code.

Could you please, point me where to start?
Handbook example on creating a node type looks well, but I can't find there how to add such an extra field

3rd column dependence on window width.

Hi there
I'm using blumarine (Xtemplate) in my site with 3 column design. I like to display the 3wrd column only in a 1024*756 resolution and make it hidden in 800*600.
How and where should I add this javascript function and onload event.
My point is to make a shrinking limitation for main column (the most important column - content) so it not became a narrow strip wile blocks stay on screen and unchanged (like in this site homepage).
Like to hear any idea for that action or links for info.

importing tables into Drupal?

Hello,

I have a table with about 1000 records, and it's being managed by Dadabik. Dadabik is nice, but I'm wondering if Drupal has the searching and sorting capabilities that Dadabik does, and if I can import a couple of tables into Drupal.

And how would I import tables into Drupal?

Thanks!

Make contact page accessible

Is the contact module in 4.6.5 broken? I enabled the contact forms for a few registered users but when I try to go to their contact pages, I am denied access (and I am the super user)

Patching in Windows

Thanks to these two (1, 2) handbook pages on Cygwin, I was able to install it and then try patching drupal modules.

Can anyone say if the following message in Cygwin is indication that the file (in this case, the book.module) has been successfully patched?
