Post installation

Has anyone done this? I run a multi user blog site so this would be a great feature to simplify navigation on the site.

i got drupal running fine for few months here:

suddenly i see the web content disappear!
and i get lots of these error on the log:

Although the content of the files folder is not shown by default (according to the settings of my ISP) I am pretty sure some evil users are able to hack this.
Finally - the content is also visible for bad-behaving search engines which don't care about 'robots.txt' settings.

Does anybody know if (and how) it is possible to grant Drupal users access to the files folder secured by htaccess ?
Or is there another way to limit access to the files folder ?

we have some problems and dont know if there is anything is available to do these or not, if someone please help on this:
1-can we show the POSTED BY .... ON ... on the end of contents?
2-can we disable or enable POSTED BY ... on the pages that we want?
3-is there any east asian (like arabic) date and time implementation in drupal?
4-all content pages show the page name on the head of page when anybody viewing them, is there any possibilities that it doesnt show on evry pages?

When user edits his profile, whether he types in new password or leaves the password fields blunk, Drupal changes the password in db for smth that encrypted looks like:
1a1dc91c907325c69271ddf0c944bc72

So user cant relogin ufter editing profile until password is manually fixed in db.
Why does this happen.

4.7b4 on local Win.

I've read everything that has to do with overring profiles. It's great stuff. My problem is I'm trying to pull out some info from specific modules, such as the referral module and userpoints module and I'm not having any luck.

Is there any way to just modify how the current profiles look?
