Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

need to change the Sands theme

I'm using the Sands theme on my site and I need to change the node.tpl.php to only allow the "submitted" tags on blog postings. Right now, every node gets tag on the date submitted which makes the site look very odd. Can someone give me pointers to what I need to change? How can I limit the date submitted to only blogs?

This code is from the Sands node.tpl.php file:

Annoying space with CivicSpace Theme

Can anyone tell me how I can get rid of the extra space/padding/margin at the top of my nodes using the CivicSpace theme? The extra space (between title and content) only shows in IE not in Firefox.
Using 4.6.5

Thanks!

Problem with language and Gallery2

I have the problem descriped in this node

http://drupal.org/node/32072

I DO understand that the solution to my problem is in that node, in comment nr 11. The only thing I do not understans is in WHICH file I should put or change the code. Maybe it's written there, but I just don't see it.

Problems with image upload

Hello, I have copied image and img_assist modul on my site and enabled them in modules section. However, when I wanted to add an image image don't show and neither thumbnail. When I wanted to insert image in my content using img_assist icon below the Body box I got this error message:

user error: Table 'srol_drpl1.img_assist_map' doesn't exist
query: DELETE FROM img_assist_map WHERE nid = 29 in /home/srol/public_html/site/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 66.

Max and min width in IE

I'm customising the spreadfirefox theme for one of my sites and have set it to be variable width but only within certain amounts using:

min-width : 710px;
max-width : 1000px;

which works fine in firefox, but doesn;t seem to work when the site is viewed in IE. IT seems to just push the site out to full size.

Does IE understand min-width and max-width?

Change "submitted by" to "last updated by" and other issues

On SpreadKDE we have lots of people editing a handbook using the book module. But the pages only ever indicate who they were originally created by and don't show who last updated them and when.

Other issues that make collaborative editing a pain:

- You can't make set only a revision, as opposed to the node, to 'moderate', which would allow us to review and work on a new revision of a page without exposing the mess to users.
