Post installation

Hi,
I'm having a very frustrating thing happen: when I send out emails from my Drupal website (I've got the mail module activated), some people in my new business get the email, but many don't. I don't know why. I'm pretty worried. There are over 1000 people in this group, and I'm really worried about my business not being able to communicate. Does anyone have an idea about why this might be happening?

I have read the documentation for various taxonomy functions but can't seem to find the one I need. I need to be able to check to see what taxonomy term has been assigned to a node knowing the node's id. I thought perhaps taxonomy_get_terms would allow this, but it doesn't seem to be working for me. The return data I'm getting is something along the lines of "Object id # 15" which has nothing to do with the term. Is there a different function that would do the trick?

I'm working on adding a form to a Drupal site, but having trouble getting the javascript that checks to see if a form is filled out to work.

I used the same basic code in a non-Drupal version of the site:

and it seems to work fine. But in Drupal:

I have drupal 4.6 and I have the event modual and the calender enabled, but when I add and event under content there is no place to put the date and time and location. It just looks like a page node. And after I post it there is nothing in the calender. What is going on? Thanks

I finally got my Yahoo feeds to display. I was wondering if there is anyway to make the feeds display on a front page. I only see where I can add it to the left or right sidebars and then when I click on it it takes me to its own page. I want it to be on the frontpage at the top, not on the sidebars.

Also come to think of it, I see how to add different blocks to the frontpage but what if I want different blocks on say a second page?

This didn't used to happen; but I've been mucking around quite a bit learning about this Drupal thing and ANOTHER weird thing has popped up.

Now, whenever I create a story, if I don't type something in the URL path settings box I get the error "The path is already in use" and the URL path box turns red.

If I enter a path all is fine. Except, I don't want to ALWAYS have to enter a path. I know this field is optional. It wasn't initially required on my site. Yet, now...
