keeping sessions accross multiple sites

Hi members,
I have a muliti site and i want to keep sessions accross the sites.
What i meant was, I want when users lookin to the main site they
are kept login when they click a link to go to another site of drupal
which is set up as a subdomain. What i have realise is that when
you login to the main site and you go the second site which is a
subdomain, it prompt you to login in again. Is there a way to set up
a multi site of drupal to keep sessions across it.

Undefined function: form_select in Simplenews

Hi --

I've got Drupal working, and I've installed the Simplenews module. When I navigate to mydrupalsite.com/admin/simplenews I get this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: form_select() in /var/www/mydrupalsite/modules/simplenews/simplenews.module on line 1039

I've grep'd for form_select, and it exists in includes/form.inc, so why is simplenews unable to load it? What can I do to fix this?

Site News, how to?

Dear Drupal users and developers,

I faced a problem with news system at my site. The requirements are the following:

How can I generate a printer friendly output for a story?

Hello,

I am using a three col flexible width theme for my site, and it looks great on the screen. However when I want to print out say an online newsletter, the content is squished into a narrow column on the paper. I was wondering if there was some kind of utility that would present the user with something like 'Printer-friendly output'... and it would print the story without the blocks down the sides.

Thanks!
Maha

attachment ftp upload + a way to point to a file already uploaded?

Is there a module or patch for upload.module that lets you attach a file already uploaded? I was able to fool it, but it says the file is 0 bytes. This would be useful when renaming files, or uploading new versions via ftp. Would also useful if you don't want everything in the /files directory.
