Post installation

Hi,

I am trying to compose a webpage that has two parts. The first part is a letter, which requests that the user can read about a problem (easy). The second part is a form, where the user can request additional information. When they fill out the form, a white paper will be sent with additional information (by email or regular mail).

What is the best way to set this up in drupal?

How can you control a users access to theme changes under their personal My Account > Edit > account settings> theme settings? I don't want this to be a visual option for users. I want this to be something that only the administrator can access and control.

Is the paging module broke? Has any one been able to use it? I have it installed but it's not working for me - it doesn't break the content into multiple pages. What gives? Are there any limitations - will it work for both pages and stories content types? The documentation on it is non-existent.

I would like to make the top item in the navigation menu more prominent. How can I customize the formatting on one menu item?

I am not too fond of the Input Format options - particularly the "Lines and paragraphs break automatically" functionality. Is there any way I can denote the line breaks and the paragraphs myself -- I've been using the "PHP Code" input format. Any suggestions would be appreciated (modules, etc.)

could someone share their experience installing the latest drupal cvs and image.module cvs?
i'm was problem posting images.

applied image patch, but still won't able to post.
the tmp file shows that the files has been uploaded, but is to being moved to the "final" folder.

what could this be? I have my "final" folder set to 777.
