Post installation

Is there any easy way to reassign/convert the type of a node? For example, I have some book page nodes that i'd rather have as story nodes.

I've noticed and read through most of the posts on this module. I am currently running drupal 4.7RC2, and I've having difficulty with the module updating the feeds. I should mention that this all running on a test server and is not live at the moment.

I intalled drupal yesterday and did some admin stuff, created roles, permissions, installed modules*, etc. all through Firefox. Today when I tried to log in, the log in just did the refresh thing, and I got an access denied error when trying to view my profile. (I think I have the latter issue corrected.) BUT in Safari, Explorer, and Opera on both Mac and Windows, and Camino on Mac, I can log in just dandy. The Firefox issue is on Mac and Windows. Firefox version on Mac 1.5.0.2, Firefox version on Windows 1.5.0.1. And yes, I have cleared my cache many many times.

I'm having persistent problems with the installation and configuation of the GD module for PHP. I’ve read the other posts concerning this topic and I revised the php.ini file as instructed. However, upon doing a phpinfo test, the GD module still doesn’t appear. And of course, I continue to receive the following message at the Settings page:

“The built-in GD image toolkit requires that the GD module for PHP be installed and configured properly. For more information see http://php.net/image.”

I've installed the audio and playlist modules. I cannot get the audio or playlist modules to play an mp3 audio. When the playlist is displayed the mp3.swf buttons are displayed but nothing happens when they are clicked. The source html displays as:

        value="modules/audio/players/mp3.swf?song_title=BBC podcast audio&amp;song_url=" />

Notice that the song_url is blank. I'm struggling to find out why that is. The mp3 file is stored on my local desktop and the permissions are OK.

When I look at the audio node, and click on "click here" to play the audio, Firefox is trying to play the mp3 using the node reference http://localhost/drupal/audio/play/24 instead of the actual URL of the MP3 file. Here is the HTML:

Have I missed something in the setup? I'm struggling with this one. Help!

Hello,
I have installed e-journal and working fine. If there is a current issue, the journal page shows only the current issue. I do not know how list the back issues.
Anyone of you please help me to find out the URL to goto the archive/back issues page.
