Post installation

whenever bitmap images are uploaded to my site, the site fails to create thumbnails, hence when a random image is displayed, it takes up the entire screen and everything on the right is shifted way over! Is there a way I can stop this from happening?

also, how can I make it so that when someone clicks and image, it opens it in a new window?

how can i get to work the Survey module for Drupal 4.7?

I've try to install it, but after activation in 'Modules', there is no 'Setting' for it. In 'Send new content' menu there is only a list item 'survey', but after clicking on it, nothing happens...

Q: Is there an easy way to make a block title into the $user->name of a profile that is being viewed?

So... I've been playing around with blocks and liking them a lot... and have been able to create blocks with dynamic php content, simply by "configuring" the blocks in the admin > blocks > configure settings so that "input format" is php content.

However, although I can get dynamic *content*, I can't seem to control the title of the block dynamically. At least not through this admin > blocks > configure settings user interface.

Howdy, on the url 'www.thesitename.com' I get to the site home page as expected, but with the url at just 'thesitemname.com', I get to 'node/23', which results in 403 displayed in the admin theme, not the default theme.

This is with 4.7 cvs. Suggestions or comments would be much appreciated.

I wonder if there`s any possibility to output a list of authors of a specific content-type. For example a list of every author who posted "story"-nodes.

Maybe with a php-snippet? I`m looking forward for your replys.

I'm unable to view any text or error messages when i click on administer >>action. I am using the older version of actions.module (Actions cvs) since i'm on Drupal 4.6.6 with MySQL 5.0 and PHP 5.0.
Would appreciate any pointers.
