Post installation

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to configure the archive module and at the moment I find drop down list on the page a bit limiting.

What I would like to do is have a better way of dsiplaying the archives. Does anyone know if:

1) There are other archive modules about ( I have not been able to find any myself)
2) Is it possible to use the calander block for the archive module on the acrhive page rather than on th eleft or right navigation links.

I am using Drupal 4.6

Any information poeple can give me would be very much appreciated.

Anyway to add a top block ? ie a block which is always above the posts.

i would like to know if there is a tag to put read more in contents , i want to reduce the number of wordings before read more to appear .. or i want to put the read more myself ..

I will apologize ahead of time if I am asking something that should have been easy to find. I've searched the Drupal forums and the web to no avail. While I've read in several places that Drupal provides facilities for group permissions, I've only found references to roles and the ability to assign them to blocks. I am looking to build a corporate intranet with portions of the web site for each department. Each department would identify the one or two people who should have editing permissions on their portion of the web site.

I don't see where I can have a image gallery.

I'd like each member to have their own image gallery.

Running 4.6.6.

I have this nice HTML table gerated from an OpenOffice Spreadsheet that I would like to include in my site. The problem is, when I put the code into the node edit box and click preview, I get several screens of blank space below my RHS blocks before I get the table up. Any clues?
