Post installation

Another issue i'm facing this morning (i see to be taking two steps forward and one step back it would seem).

After findind the excellent buddylist and Invite your friends and colleagues modules i installed them and enabled their menu items. I am very pleased to offer our members greater flexability with buddylists etc so am very pleased with these modules.

I installed Drupal and would like to use images in my posts. But stories that I created with inline images does not show. I only saw my text. I repeated my fresh install 3 times with identical results. I have outlined my detail steps so that you guys can figured what I have done wrong:

- I installed drupal-4.7.0-rc4.tar.gz followed by:
image-cvs.tar.gz
img_assist-cvs.tar.gz
(All are fresh install)

Ok my drupal community site is up and running and everything is working wonderfull but i'm totally confused on Events.

My community site is local area based and the idea is to have the local community submit any activities and events into a central database and then be able to browse upcoming events on a day per day or per a given month or date.

I installed the events module but am totally confused on what or how to achieve this.

I have read a lot about it regards attaching to nodes etc but still have progressed no further.

I've set up a calender with events, using 4.7.
I'd like to have a little introductory blurb at the top.
Adding a sticky top page with groups of pages using taxonomy works fine for other node types but for some reason not with the event page/calender.

Any suggestions?

I am doing a site for a baseball team. Is it possible to nest flexinodes? I wouold like to create a flexinode for a team, then within the team I would have flexinodes for players. Is that posssible?

Hi,

I have accidently deleted the content of bootstrap.inc file :( and saved it. Now after realizing my blunder, I immediately copied botstrap.inc file from my other site which too is having drupal but still my site is giving error
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare check_url() (previously declared in /home/mysite/public_html/includes/bootstrap.inc:545) in /home/mysite/public_html/includes/common.inc on line 630

I don't want to play anymore with the code. Can someone tell me what can be done ?
