Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

Impossible to access module setup

Hi,

I'm using cvs version of drupal. I can access my website, setup parameters in admin options, but if I go to the modules one, to activate or desactivate modules, I just get a blank page.

I'm using clean urls.

Anybody has an idea?

Btw when I create my first user, the admin one, I also get a blank page after creating it. The mail is correctly send though. And for future users I do not have this blank page.

Thanks

Lost access to admin page after uploading from local dev: permission, database, or uploaded file problem?

Hi,

I'm a new to Drupal. I made a Drupal installation on my Mac OS X. I'm successful for installing and configuring, and I also added a few modules for my needs. After much developing on my hard drive, I uploaded to my hosting server. Although I managed to get the site working and log-in as a user, it seems I lost a admin permission.

Send and MimeMail Modules

Has anyone successfully been able to send out emails via the send and mimemail modules? I looked at the logs in my smtp server and I see this error:

Message FROM: <vincent <vincent@yahoo.com> TO: <bob <bob@gmail.com> directly fail! Mail from <vincent <vincent@yahoo.com>: "@" or "." expected after "vincent"

If the SEND module is improperly formatting the FROM: email address, how do I fix it?

Unable to send mail

Hi,

What should I install on my linux server to be able to use the mail() command? When I create a new user it should send the password by email, but it doesn't work, so the email is not sent, and the password is lost somewhere.

Thanks

Cookie - logout problem

News posts in a separate directory?

On my site I have a "latest news" section that is updated almost daily. I'm using the frontpage module. What I'd like to do is post either blog or story nodes and have those nodes all go into a directory, in this case /latest-news and then have the pathauto module work its magic from there so the final post would be /latest-news/here_is_the_latest_news. And then the end user can go to /latest-news and see all of the latest posts there.
