Basically I've read everything, seen the site, and just don't get it. And I've been using Drupal for ages.

It sounds lovely, but HOW do you actually do it?

What I am trying to do is build a site for a professional group, and they need to have entries for each member, so that teams can be built.

So in standard Taxonomy it's easy

Vocabs for Location, Skills, and Content Types for each type of profession.

So seeker does search on Content Type Actress, with terms for Location - London, Skills - Horse Riding

I shot my site in the foot. Allow me to elaborate

I changed the block Login's settings to be shown only on the pages visited by authenticated users and then logged myself out

Now I cant get the login screen because I am not an authenticated user until I log in and I cant log in because I cant see the login block.

Can anyone help me out from the catch22 killer?

I have set up drupal 4.7 and I need to promote it to my company's website. But I am facing a problem

1.

I had noticed that in drupal 4.6 we can have the settings of
- only admin creating users
- users can create accounts but activation only occurs after approval by admin
- users can create accounts and get the passwords on their email ids

How do I do that in 4.7? I want the setting where in only admin can create users. Others cant.

I would like to find out if its possible to activate the blogs system just for a few selected individuals while registered users do not have the option.

Is the a seperate module or snippets i should look at?

What can I do? Where is the button i have to click or the code to change?
