Post installation

Two of my websites are for doctors surgeries (http://boahc.co.uk and http://westburygp.co.uk/welcome) and one of the developments I'd like to have is that patients can register with the sites to allow the following:

Repeat prescription requests
Users to log, enter medication then select a location for the presription to be delivered

I'm very new to Drupal. And I think it's very good to use . I read a step by step instruction tutorial to set up my site. (Configuring Drupal for Media:a step by step recipe).
According to the tutorial to insert images should go this path,

NAVIGATION >> administer >> settings >> image

but in my Drupal I can't find settings >> image part.

please tell me how to get that and install images to my site.

Hi we have recently installed/configured drupal 4.7
i have followed all inst and all seems to work

as we intend to install the Acidfree module we need to install first the filemanager module as a dependicy and this module requires public and private upload folders to be configured

after installing the filemanager module on the configuration page i have to follow this:
"A file system path where private access controlled files will be stored. This directory has to exist and be writable by Drupal. This directory should not be accessible over the web"

Will deleting the categories that have been assigned to nodes also delete the nodes?
