Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

PLEASE HELP!

I have been using drupal for a while, and recently upgraded to 4.7. Today I noticed that when I am not logged in, and I scroll to the bottom of the home page, there is a link suggesting that their is a second page. When I click on it, it takes me to the initial page that you see after installation that says Welcome to your drupal site, first please make an admin account, etc etc....

How can I remove that from the site altogether. Is there a file I am supposed to delete, or a node, or something?

Get rid of links under teaser and regular content

I want to keep the 'read more' and 'add comment' links but not all the others. Where do select what links I want under the teaser and the ones I don't want shown?

Thanks.

BASIC Q: Lost my 'Links' PHP code for the 'links' section in the Header block!

Hey, guys, I'm developing my website using the 'Marvin' theme (for now) ... Please read these questions individually and if you find a succinct, easy-to-understand way to answer them, PLEASE do, as I am in between a pre-school and kindergarten student to Drupal, and will learn more that way, rather than in one 'whooosh' of technical stuff all at once ; :

1. SIMPLEST QUESTION FIRST: When administering my site, I went to 'Blocks' to configure my 'Links' area to include banners (this area is used for the nav links as well, in case I'm not being clear.) I accidentally erased the php code in this section! Can someone please post what it is again, so I can paste it back in?

2. Speaking of which, I'm trying to keep these banners separate from the same section that the navigation links are in (i.e. the nav links in this same 'Links' under the Header section.) While I still would like (for the moment) to keep the banners at the top of the site, I want the nav links section to be there too, only separately. How do I do this? Or, a better question would be: where would I put banner links from the very beginning to have them neatly displayed at the top, with a neatly displayed nav links area?

3. How do I upload an image to the Header area, so that it goes behind my logo? (Having real problems with this, for some reason.)

4. When members join my site, and upload their pictures, what is/are the best module(s) you can think of to display a random few on the flash/intro page, and use to creatively control pictures in the site once the user enters?

Quick snippet code - getting dupbicates! Need PHP / MySQL help

Hi,

I'm using the following code - a modified version of something from the quick snippet pages. I'm not skilled (obviously) in PHP or SQL, so it is very likely that it was something in my modifications that has created the problem!

Hi all,
I'm already put into /files directory the rules:
