I was wondering guys if its possible to disable category selection (the whole drop down box) from the node creation page. Like I want the category selection for all my users when they post a story, and page. For the forum I dont want them to choose the category, so I dont have no new nodes come up in that category. I just want them to show in the forums.
I'm completing the final stages of converating a Slashcode-based site to Drupal, and I want to change the default behavior of how user-submitted stories appear.
In Slashcode, user "X" would submit a story, and when a site admin would finally approve the story, it would appear as being quoted by the author, like so:
This is a story title
Posted by <admin username> on <date stamp>
<user X> writes, "Blah blah blah..."
Hi there!
I´ve been reading how to theme views module.
Didn´t get it yet, but it is more difficult because I don´t understand: Is it updated?
In the theming Views Module handbook, in one of its comment it´s sayed (by merlin) that now it is easier to theme Views Module, and that the Handbook isn´t updated.
As I didn´t read that those pages has been updated... I wanted to know if the Handbook is accurate in that respect.
I am using free-tagging and want to list all available category terms on edit page when user submit new content, as a reference for user.
So, maybe the best way is to list these terms in help note below free-tagging input field, and an acceptable way is display all available category terms in a block, who can help me to achieve these? I think it's just a few lines of code. Help me.
What's the difference between these two modules? I understand voting_actions module, but not votingapi_actions.
If I enable both, they both have the same heading under Administrator ->Voting Actions. Very confusing. But on clicking the link each one has a different screen.
Would be nice if the votingapi_actions changed the heading under Administrator settings to 'VotingApi Actions' to avoid conflict with Voting Actions module heading.
On a positive note, what a wonderful module votingapi is! :)
