I also have the image_assist mod. I can only upload one image at a time and I have a ton of images I need to get uploaded. There is now an 'images' dir in the files subdir, but I can't FTP anything to do it directly! Says I don't have permission, which is set to 755 for the folder. That should be enough but I can't change it to 777, it won't let me. I've given permissions in access control in drupal. What gives?
Is it possible to include HTML in the Registration and Forgotten Password e-mails that go out to users? I'm reluctant to experiment on my own in case it doesn't work out and my new users get some ugly e-mails. No biggie, but I thought I'd ask anyway since I couldn't find anything about it after searching.
I currently have a non drupal subscription website and am building a new drupal site to takes it place. I have about 1,500 current subscribers. I'd like to let them beta test the new drupal website before it is fully launched and functional. During the beta test I don't want new users to join. Would it be possible to create one user and give the current subscribers/beta testers the username/password and let them login to the site?
I couldn't find anything directly relevant in the forums recently, so exuse me if this has been discussed.
I just got Drupal installed, but I cannot seem to figure out quite how this all works...take for example the Drupal page itself...are things like the search bar and tabs at the top built in automatically? I cannot find those tabs anywhere...
And whenever I create new content (static page) it just shows up like a blog post on the front page...how do I make it a seperate page??
Hello evertybody!!!
I am using drupal 4.7 and I have a problem:
I have made a page with drupal (full html) called "home". Now I have made a menu with a me item. Then, I want to link this menu item with the page "home". I have tried to do it but I don´t know.
How can i do it??
recently I installed Drupal and so far it looks very fine, except for one thing:
By default a lot of menu items are deactivated (which is a good thing). As long as a menu item (e.g. books) is deactivated, the internationalization works fine (e.g. when I switch to Spanish the menu item changes to "libros"). But when I activate the menu item, it remains in the language that I used when I activated it.
Unfortunately it seems that activating a menu item automatically means to modify it, and a modified menu item is not internationalized any more.
