FLEXINODE: making recent "flexinode" display?

Anyone got a tip on how to force new (flexinode) posts to display as Recent posts - in the same way as "Recent blog posts" would display...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Thumbnail Images in my Taxonomy Blocks? HOWTO?

Fellow Drupal’ists

Wish to include (thumbnail) images in my Taxonomy Blocks…these are the inline images that are associated with the related Story Posts. (4.7)

I have tried IMG_ASSIST, IMAGE UPLOAD, ATTACH, FLEXINODE, etc. etc. to create text posts with inline images, with the goal of displaying a Taxonomy Block that includes a list of Titles + Images. (Newspaper articles)

My Taxonomy Block’s are being created with the VIEW module.

Any pointers?

thanks

Stream persistent video across multiple pages (use frames or CSS/Ajax?)

I have a large project coming up that requires the use of a streaming video broadcast to persist across all site pages. My client is currently using frames to accomplish this but they are aware of the pitfalls and would like the redesign to NOT incorporate frames if at all possible.

Can Drupal do something similar to the phpWebsite $hub_dir setup? (without multisite installs)

I haven't had much luck with the multisite install, but I think it might be "overkill" for what I'd like to do.
Basically I want to organize all users images and files into their own directories.
I'm using acidfree for images and the upload module for pdfs/etc.

(1) Is there a way to make the "files" directory more organized ? (im using the filemanager module)

(2) Maybe a way to give users an option when uploading images and files, with the above or other modules, of where to save them?

Strange log-in/out problems. et al

OK. I'm a bit frustrated, so please forgive any negative tone. I mean no disrespect, and seek only help.

I am having a lot of trouble administrating and adding content to my Drupal powered site, http://feebdack.com

As was suggested on this site, I created the initial admin user, whom I'll call RootAdmin, then immediately registered a second user, rabidrobot. RootAdmin has given all access it can to rabidrobot via the roles.

But my site can't seem to keep track of who is logged in. I can log in as RootAdmin, and get returned to the anonymous user front page. I can log in as rabidrobot, and it'll load a page saying RootAdmin is logged in. I can delete both cookies and log in and out as one user, to be returned to a page logged in as the other. What the hell is going on? (I turned off caching but problem persists)

When I do get logged in, I get wildly different options when I try to create content. RootAdmin gets the FIlemanager options, but rabidrobot does not. I was able to get TinyMCE to show up for rabidrobot, but can't seem to set it up so the actual RootAdmin has those options. And whether TinyMCE sees my styles is a crapshoot.

And what gives with "Drupal-powered sites"? I have the option turned off, because every site I saw that message on and tried it, it did not work. Now I see they probably had it turned off too, but there is a message that I apparently have to edit the core to remove that shows to every new user (all three of them in my case).

Setting up user photo galleries - best method

Hi Guys,

I have been away from the drupal scene for some time, but I have now updated my site to 4.7 and noticed lots of new development, especially with CCK and Views modules. A while back I tried setting up user photo galleries with the Gallery2 module, but it was hard to integrate well and seemed like trouble.
