Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

Moved site, now cannot log in.

Hi,

Have 4.7.2 installed on my remote server, which is working fine. Using the backup and restore scripts available here:
http://drupal.org/node/59369
I set up the site on my local computer (Ubuntu 6.06/dapper) and it works fine, all content is there etc etc. The issue is that I cannot login.

When I try to login, it takes me to a blank page with the URL:
http://localhost/drupal/view/front?destination=

javascript path problem

Hello,
Not really a "Drupal" specific problem. My problem is very basic but frustrating.

og_forum - getting rid of header over Forum Name

Each time a group is created two entries are made for the forums - one that identifies the group name and then another for the actual forum called "generic discussion". I will have LOTS of great and just want the second entry created because each of my groups will only have one forum in which to post. How do I get rid of the first entry and make all forum one step below the root?

thanks

Which version of drupal do you have installed?

Check the last entry in CHANGELOG.txt in the root folder ... that will tell you!

Admin/settings access denied - Noob Question?

Quick question...I may have gone about this incorrectly.

First off, I need to let everyone know I don't have access to any server settings. We are installing Drupal through an installatron, so we are very limited in what we have access to there.

Second off, I need to let everyone know that we're web designers, not developers, and the technical aspect of PHP and server stuff is a bit beyond us.

help needed with complicated taxonomy structure... using freetagging, please advice!

Hey there,

What I want to achieve is setting up a page for each country i the world. Then, I though that that once users have selected the coutry about which they will add a node to the site, they could tag their content so that other users could find it easily, and also because I don,t want to create an term for every city in the world by hand, I'll let the users handle that with their tags.
