Post installation

I am trying to get the following navigation structure for OG in a menu block, but have failed so far:

'groups' menu link
--group 1 link
--group 2 link
--group 3 link

When I add a post to a group, I want this same menu block, with the active group's menu link highlighted to show on the node (post) view. I can understand that the context will change if the post is, say, actually another node type tagged with a taxonomy term and also posted in the group, but at least when a post is only posted to the group, shouldn't the menu context be retained?

I have Drupal up and running but now I want to have multiple sites that function as the home page for several domains I own. I understand from install text that it is reletively easy ( make a folder with the domain name www.example.com and copy the settings.php there), however, two questions remain:

I'm having a strange problem with the content on my site.

I have created the menus, roles etc. but the only way to view the sites content is if the user account has the "Administer Nodes" option selected in the access control section.

Leaving this unselected prevents calendar items / events from being visible and all nodes/pages get the access denied error when selecting an item from the menu.

Is there any way around this, as naturally I do not want to give everyone admin access to the sites content.

i am a newcomer to the drupal way of life and am trying to integrate ldap authentication into my drupal site.
i am using the module "ldap integration" and connecting to a lotus based ldap directory service. however upon inputting my settings and attempting to login using a valid account from the ldap directory, i find i am thrown out to a blank page. i also notice at the time that there is no network traffic, meaning that the ldap lookup must not have occured.

could anyone advise me further on this?

I am a newbie to URL Rewriting and administering. I wonder if you could help me. I need the URL to be rewritten the similar way it is done at this site. Now I have default URL rewriting which comes with the installation. Could you please help me out??

How do I remove the comment links from teasers?

It seems the only way is to patch the comment.module which is not prefered. Hiding the link(s) with CSS doesn't work since there's no way to distinguise the comment links from other links (without using advanced selectors not supported in IE6).
