notification of moderation of comments

Hi all,
Is there a way for me to add a notification about site comments being moderated, and some time may pass untill they appear?
currently the post comments line says "Post new comment", and asks for some info. I want to add a line under that that says somthing like "Comments are moderated, it may take some time until your new comment shows".
could not find a solution in the documentation or forums.
thanks,
Udi.

Which tables can be discarded in a database dump?

Good morning,

I have a site of which I am the only user. No polls, no forum, no comments (but mine and they are scarce). I have Adsense and I keep logs to see the main points of traffic.

To make backups and upload/download dumps I have to use a dial connection (very slow).

I write new content some times in the local copy of my Drupal (4.7) site and sometimes in the server’s copy.

So, I would like to avoid uploading – downloading any unneeded table.

And my question is:

If this is a basicly static site with one user, which are the tables that you would dump to renew content that are pages of books and some comments (with taxonomy)?

Or (if answering that is too complex):

What are the tables that you seldom need to make that kind of uploading/downloading?

(I will keep scheduled backups of the whole thing just in case).

Can I trust $user->uid

Hi

Once a user is logged in with the correct password and username, can i always trust:

$user->uid

to provide the real user id. What I mean is that it is never simply read off a cookie which would be open to user manipulation, or anything else which would be easy to spoof.

Thanks

embedding flash video

First off, I've really enjoyed working with Drupal. My site still has a long ways to go, especially in the appearance department (my graphics guy is getting lazy on me), but Drupal has proven to be very flexible and I love all the built in features and modules.

I'm having a bit of a problem getting embedded flash video to display properly on the frontpage of my site as a blog post. I have everything setup correctly on the flash side of things; i even made a test html page outside of drupal to make sure that it worked correctly, you can see it here (there's one swear word on the clip, don't watch it if that offends you):

http://www.mancrabs.com/test

That page is just the snippet of html made by Flash 8, and as you can see it works perfectly fine as a plain html page loading from the server. But when I put the same html code into my blog post, this is the result:

http://www.mancrabs.com/testingflash

Also, if I publish that test blog post to the front page, all the other blog posts beneath it disappear, along with the right side-bar and the footer. Am I missing something totally obvious, or is this not supported without using one of the media modules?

I was using WMV, but the problem (besides compatibility) is that they autoload automatically, killing my bandwidth if I have more than one video on the front page. Having 3 or 4 videos load when the user only wants to watch one of them is a huge waste of bandwidth. With flash, I can set the videos up so that they dont start to load until the play button is clicked. I ended up using screenshots on the front page as links to separate pages containing the embeded videos, but I with flash I could avoid all that.

Custom Database Error page

Is there a way to edit the database error page? The code is obvisouly in a file somewhere, but which one?

non drupal folders get 404

I just installed RoundCube webmail client to the subdomain /rc/ on my site breakingchaos.com.

However, whenever I go to breakingchaos.com/rc/ or breakingchaos.com/rc/index.php drupal generates a "Page not found" error.

Any ideas how i can fix this?

Cheers
