Post installation

I have been experiencing some access problems and finally saw that my users_roles table is empty- is there a way I can repopulate that table if I don't have a backup?

I'm in the midst of attempting to insert a patch to a module, however I've run into a bit of a problem. My server, much to my suprise, does not allow SSH or any shell access for my account. Because I cant run unix comands to connect to the server, would anyone know another way of installing a Patch/ or Diff function. Thanks all...

Hello, I am looking for a solution to the following situation: a site consists of nodes created by John, James and Jim. Jim is the admin. All have access to content, as have the anonym. users. But how to make sure that each can edit or delete only nodes created by himself? John must not have the permission, access, right, whatever, to touch nodes created by James or Jim. Only Jim can delete and edit other people's nodes.

I'm trying to find someway for the forum to mirror a Category in the taxonomy. As the taxonomy expands in the specific category, I would like the forum to expand with it. I don't like the concept of two different categories - that is, one for forum, and one for the rest of the content.

Any ideas how to combine them? Thanks.

Is there a way to move only between nodes of the same taxonomy?
