I spent some time trying to figure out this “patching” thing, and I pretty much figured it out. But I have a question for those of you who understand those too often ridiculous and nebulous development terms.
My first attempts at patching returned the following:
Hunk #1 FAILED at 10.
1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file module.inc.rej
After hours of trial and error, I made some progress, and the module.inc appears to now be patched. But why the fuzz:
I installed Drupal 4.7 with various modules, including userreview. Reviews are showing up on the frontpage, and I'd like them not to. I tried making this not happen by Admin>Views>Add>Filters set Node:Type is One of Story Page, but this doesn't seem to have done anything. Could anyone advise?
I have just just installed TinyMCE and created a profile. I enabled TinyMCE for all nodes. It works great in editing page node content. If I try to edit my mission statement or footer text, I get a very abbreviated tool button bar. Any ideas as to what is preventing the the full set of buttons that I have enabled in the profile when editing mission and footer text?
Is there a way to make Aggregator2 post only stories with specific key words in title? Eg: I add an RSS from a cooking site, I want Aggregator2 to only post stories with the words 'chicken', 'soup' and/or 'fried' in the title.
Is there any way to put a value into the select list that will be the default value that if it isn't changed will send an error because it is required they choose a different value in the list?
Quicky question. Does anyone know if there's a way to disable the "Role Discount" module for some items when using the e-Commerce module. I basically have a handfull of items that I am using the role discount function for, but I'm also selling memberships which should NOT have a discount associated with it. Is there a way that I can discount some items , while leaving other items untouched as it were. Thanks for your time...
