Post installation

I want to add my own leaderboard banner, do I just put it in the themes/bluemarine/page.tpl.php in the body, or is there a more sophsticated method with drupal so I can place my own website leaderboard?

I am thinking about javascript right from some basic stuff, to stuff like prototype libraries etc...is it possible?

Hi, I have the Drupal 4.6.6 installed in my server and works perfet. Today, I've downloaded all the site and all the database to my computer to run Drupal in locahost to make tests and probe upgrade to 4.7 in local mode so I may check that the upgrade to 4.7 in the server will work fine.

But when i run index.php from root, I see the following errors:

I just started using Drupal, and installed the dba and image modules. When I try to configure them on the settings page, I get the following error: "image_gallery settings inaccessible: module needs updating because the _settings hook has been deprecated." A post I read (http://drupal.org/node/78117#comment-144264) makes me think that I may have dled HEAD instead of 4.7 by accident. To dl, I used the commands

$ cvs -z6 -d:pserver:anonymous:anonymous@cvs.drupal.org:/cvs/drupal checkout drupal
cvs update -dP

(from http://drupal.org/node/320). I don't know where to find what version I'm using, and if it isn't 4.7, how do I revert to that version? Thanks!

Is it possible to change a node's number (as in site.com/node/#)?

I want to build a full blown photo album site, I need help to choose the best option for developpement, please havea look and leave opinions, ideas, etc.... cheers!

requirements:

1) Collaborative editing of public photo albums (Add photo albums to the albums structure, like book module let's say)

For this function I know that acidfree does it, as well as shazam gallery I think... I did an experiment and created a 'photo album' 'category' node with CCK, to which I could attach images to have unlimited galleries in a "book' style collaborative environnement.
For the moment I think this is a good solution, cause I can theme photo album category nodes very easily I think.

2) Must also provide personnal albums that support child albums, etc... With it's own structure for each user. (personal photo categories, is that possible?)

This one is more complicated I think... cause I don't know yes ow to assign categories to a single user. Example:

If i create a cck category node : personnal album photo I could eventually add images to a 'personal photo album' but i'm not sure where to place the category (in which container/vocab)...
To make it clear I would like to give each user is own little taxonomy to create ordered and structured photo albums.

But there again, acidfree can do this out of the box...

The big question is: why doN't you take acidfree?
