Any help greatly appreciated...

How do I do this? I have tried using image_assist and it doesn't seem to work, just keeps creating new image pages - I have spent at least 8 hours trying to figure this out with no success.

Yet another newbie question :-)

Using Drupal, Blue Marine theme

I am setting up a news page, with story nodes that have (optional) attached images.

What is the best way to edit the layout, looking at the node.tpl.php it basically only has $content to display the full "page". Also, it has lists the displayed as a text link in a table (standard template, no change there yet)

I have installed the book DXML export module, it works fine but it exports only the title and the body of the node.
I need to export also the name of the file(s) attached to the node.

All blocks and menues disappeared while I was in Administer. Only nodes show.
I can get in as an admin and see that modules and manus are activated.

Please advise.

Trying to get to grips with drupal and have this question. How I can display a named node and content derived from a thesaurus term on the same page. I understand how to display content derived from more than one thesaurus term:

taxonomy/term/1,2

But I would like to diplay a fixed node followed by some dynamic content:

i.e node/22273 + term/3

How would i construct a URL to do this?
