Post installation

We have just created new node types using flexinode module but we are unsure how to have a list of new node types of the same kind
i.e. "Interviews" or "Production". We have found some solution with giving posibility to choose taxonomy term (i.e. "Interview or Production") and to list node types in that way...But that`s not much acceptable solution for what we need.

To make it simple...

Ok now. Here is my situation. I have the node types of "story" and "blog". I want to have teaser for story node only but not for blog. I know I can set the length of the teaser at administer -> setting -> posts but it will trim all the node types only.

Let's say is it possible to make something like:

"Story" node -> Length of trimmed post = 200 characters
"Blog" node -> Lenght of trimmed post = Unlimited

Can someone tell me how to set the length for a specific node only?

Hey,

I'm using the lightbox V2 module and it's working well on my gallery pages created using the simple image module.

However, I'm not so keen on seeing lightbox working its magic outside of the album pages.

For example, when I click on a thumbnail image on the front page I want to be taken to the gallery page, not have lightbox cycle through all the images that happen to be on the front page.

Has anyone managed to get something like that working or know how I can go about it?

I am trying to do the following.

I want to post my stories, and pages, etc. In the Navigation block I would like to have several headings there that are subjects. If the user clicks on the category, it goes to a page that is a list of all the content posted on that subject. Something like this. The (x) part indicates how many items are in that subject.

Navigation
Cars (x)
Trucks (x)
Motorcycles (x)
Boats (x)

All users (other than first admin user) now cannot view, much less edit, their own account settings. In other words, they can't manually set their own passwords, among other things. Have searched high and low for cause, to no avail. I do have extended profile fields (showing on additional tabs in "my account, edit") and users can see & edit those (Personal Information, etc.) -- no problem. The first user can see and edit the account settings info.

yes, I'm encountering the same kind of problems with the installation of tinyMCE.
Nothing works and I have been removing it from and uploading it to my server already 3 times.
It also seems that once you remove a module from the server it still appears in the admin>settings>
that's kind a weird, no?
