Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

avatars don't appear in comments?

I really need some help. I've been trying to solve this problem for over a year, believe it or not. I don't know where or who else to turn to but this forum.

My avatars are misbehaving. In addition to the fact that the pictures won't embed into the text with the css "float", now I've noticed they don't appear with the comments, either, just the blog entry. Anybody have any ideas? Is there a file that is screwing up my style.css or node.tpl.php files that I just don't know about? If you track my posts, you'll see the rest of the story (and the code that doesn't work)

Teasers... Wordpress like functionality. How?

I am sure this has probablly been asked before, but I could not find it with a search:

Is there a means or method to get "Wordpress" like teasers? e.g. for a Blog, your setup your "teaser" which is part of the blog, and on the Blog homepage, it shows the teaser, and when you click "read more" it goes to the blog entry, specifically to where the teaser ended--but the "teaser" is on the blog entry page just above where you arrive on the page.

Currently I am using the excerpt module, and that works to a degree. Any other suggestions?

Login weirdness with Headers

you can see this using this login information:
username: dummy
password: confused

The code in the theme is:

Is it possible to filter news feeds into pre-defined categories?

I would like to do this: Subscribe to an arbitrary number of news feeds. When the feed come in they should be filtered into pre-defined categories based on a set of vocabulary.

Any help or comments are appreciated.

Oh oh... just broke my site. Here's the error message I get whenever I try and click on any links:

NOTE THE LEADING SLASH IN FRONT OF THE URL!

I've been using this site for a couple of months now without any serious issues, but this has really killed it.

issue printing views title with tooltip (similar to nowpublic).

Hi,

I am trying to integrate the same tooltip that nowpublic uses but I am having issues. I am overriding the titles of my Views tables and also inserting the tooltip code. Here is what I am doing:
