Post installation

Where can I find the variables that I can use to theme the 'event module' nodes?

e.g. start date, end date, title, etc.

I've installed gallery2 and got it working ok (all tests passed ok) but my users don't see a "your album" link anywhere.

As site admin I see a "site admin" link in the correct place (top right) but when I log in as a different user I don't see anything (in particular, there's no "your album" link).

I could swear when I first installed Drupal 4.7 I saw some setting where you could specify reserved usernames that could not be taken by new users. Am I imagining it? I have searched drupal.org very thoroughly. I've seen posts about certain login errors that imply this is possible, but none actually specifying how.

I just installed drupal and I'm trying to understand how it works. I have two databases, one is the drupal's database (the one I created during the installation) and the second is my own database and I was wondering if anyone knows if the following is possible:
a) I would like users that are in my own database able to login into Drupal without creating an account

b) Users having already an account in the drupal's database still able to login
c) New users should have an account (same username and password) in both databases.

I have pathauto on and working but I am still adding content and adsense. With pathauto on, I have descriptive URL's. I was wondering if I should turn it off while working on the site and then back on. It's easier to reference node/ID's than long url's.

Can this work to turn pathauto on and off like that?

I am using the spam module. The spams are correctly marked and unpublished.... but they are still displayed. Why? And how to solve it?
