Post installation

I know that there are several posts on this subject but I cant find one that address this problem I am experiencing. I dont seems to be able to get the clean url working. When I hover on the link 'Run the Clean url test' in my admin settings, I can see that the link is pointing to a folder www.mydomain.com/admin/settings. But I could not see any folder called 'admin' on my server. Please help.

I was working on this website like 2 months ago. I had to stop working on it because another project came up. Today I go to load the page and there are errors everywhere. It looks like database errors but Im not sure. I havent touched anything in months so I dont know why or how this can happen out of the blue.

I have a problem using drupal. I upgraded to version 4.7.4, I installed Gallery and now I have always the messages:

I want to monitor new registrations and user setting updates to check that strong passwords are used and also duplicate their hashes to another websites registrations. Where in the user.module can this be checked. I have been looking http://api.drupal.org/api/HEAD/file/modules/user/user.module for the right routines but can't seem to find the exact ones.

I am happy enough to go into the database to retrieve the details

I'm a Drupal newbie looking at the eCommerce module. I have a Drupal 4.7 instance running and have installed the eCommerce module, but its behaving very oddly. The "create content -> product" option does not appear in the menu, but it does on the "create content" page. When I try to create product, it says I don't have permission even though I'm logged in as admin. I've enabled the mod permissions for all authenticated users but still no luck.

Is there a better site to find support or is this the best place?

Are people using this product in 4.7?
