I have the idea to do something at first sight is not possible to be done or I have not seen like…

The idea would be to use an alias for the administrator account, in such a way that the user name who saw itself facing the forum was “y” and the one that is used to make initiate the session is “x”. That is to say, to create an alias so that everybody sees a name of administrator different from the real one from the account, in order to increase the security.

Hi, can anyone give me pointers on the following issues;-

I have a number of co-branded Drupal sites which are working well, however the Astbill accounting package attached to the sites is not working too well, whilst I wait for the Astbill developers to solve the issue,, I have a simple fix, but i don't know how to implement it!

I can't find where people are talking about this. Is this happening to you ?

1. You log in once, nothing happens, you log in a second time, you're logged in.

2. You log in once, you appear to have remained logged out, you click on some internal link, you realize that the log in has "taken" after all.

3. Sometimes you have to use a different browser than IE because you end up always remaining logged out in it.

There are no bad logs in my Drup Admin Panel about it.

On my host I checked which version of Apache I am using...

I have installed vote up/down module and it is working fine. I would like to change the graphics of the voting widget. Lets assume I have set it up in a way which the user cannot vote +1/-1 and she can just vote +1. For doing this I had to go to administrator->setting->vote_up_down and change vote widget setting.
It is working fine. It shows a yellow thing next to each node which has a "+" sign on bottom of it. My questions is how I can change the graphics of this yellow thing. Where should I go...

is it possible to replace/modify the blog content_type?
it would be nice to have an extra div where the user can place an image - because now the users have to place the pictures inline into the text with tinymce - but its to complicate ...
maybe its possible to build a content_type with cck, but i have special functionalities (together with other modules for example) with the original blog module - or not?
i read that views module can "simulate" a blog - but its a litte bit to big for a beginner i think ...

I have set my file settings to 'Private' in order to try and 'lock' out various files (mainly mp3s) to unregistered users. When it was set to 'public' everything seemed to work well at the user level (ie the downloads node would be available when you logged in) however the links within that node, if copied, could easily be used by anyone logged in.
