Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

controlpanel as default for 'administration' link

Can anyone advise how to setup the 'administration' link to default to the control panel, when the controlpanel module is installed?

Forum Integration

Does Drupal 5.0 have the ability to integrate Coppermine Photo Gallery and phpBB or invision power boards? Or any other forum software?

Also, what about links? Is there a module for a link directory?

Static Content?

Hello,

I just installed Drupal 5.0 on my web site, and I just really don't know if it is right for my web site. Since I couldn't figure out how to add static content to Drupal, and fix the Navigation Bar, I just took it off.

I need to figure out if Drupal is the right CMS for my web site. My web site: http://www.sleddoggin.com is one of the largest dog sledding communities on the internet, and we have message boards, newsletter, articles, stories, photo gallery, encyclopedia, weather, sled dog news, musher interviews, product reviews, advertising, links directory, and much more. This requires that I have a lot of static content on my web site.

Example: For the Encyclopedia of Mushing I have a page that links to every page of the encyclopedia. Each letter of the alphabet has it's own seperate page in the encyclopedia. This seems like it would be hard to do with Drupal.

Example: The musher interviews? What about those? Those are static as well. If you could, please check out the navigation of my site. Basically if you go to let's say, Knowledge Center, it will then lead you to Sled Dog News, Articles and Stories, Photo Gallery, Weather, and Product Reviews. If you were to open up Mushers Lodge, it takes you to the message forum, newsletter, musher interviews, etc...

Instillation handbook/guide for Drupal 5.0

I need an Instillation guide for Drupal 5.0

I want to install drupal 5 fresh, is there also an instillation guide on how to install it, the way there was an instillation handbook for drupal 4.x.x. I believe the way the two are installed are slightly different.

And me being beginner that slight difference is a major difference.

Thanks.

Tiny MCE: all looks fine, but impossible to insert line breaks or paragraphs

Hi all,

I installed Tiny MCE today and got it going. It all loks fine, but when I edit the pages I have already created, it removes line and paragraph breaks.

Have fiddled around, am sure it must be something obvious, but I haven't figured it out yet.

Any helpful suggestions would be much appreciated!

Going slightly mad - Nice Menus

I have implemented Nice Menus on my site, but I am having trouble making it look right in both Firefox And Internet Explorer (6). I use Firefox myself, but considering that most people do not, I would like both to look good.

The problem is that for some reason the top-margin is larger in FF than in IE. I would like the margin to be similar. At the moment only the IE-version looks right.

I am not very skilled in CSS and am about to give up, so if you would take a look at my site and if possible give me a hint, it will be greatly appreciated.
