Post installation

I am trying to add some PHP code to my footer. Here is a snippet of my code

Instead of getting the spacer.gif it it printing "> on the screen. Any ideas?

I have the following code in two settings.php files (each for a different site) to share the translation tables:

I am trying out Drupal 5, evaluating it for possible use on several sites which I manage and have searched the forums for info on disabling the RSS icon and syndication link which appears on my Drupal pages- FWIW, I am playing with the Xen theme...

1) Is there no control panel setting for this behavior?

-or-

2) Is this behaviour controlled by the theme???

-or- ?????

What is the preferred method of removing he RSS icon/link from my postings???

I would like to allow the customer to select one of four shipping methods during checkout. I have looked at simple.inc, shippingoptions.module, multiple_active_shipping_modules, and so forth, and have tried to figure out which to try by following the threads which reference them; but each attempt appears to end in "this needs more work...", so I can't figure out which to use, nor how.

Is there some reliable way to enable the customer to select one of several shipping methods, each with a flat rate, at checkout time?

The annonymous comments have dissapeared!

I´ve got a little snippet that tells me how many comments are posted, and the number haven´t changed there, but the comments are not there anymore!
The only comments that have remained are from registered users.

Settings:
Anonymous users can post comments without approval
Comments are allowed, the form is still there

The only change was that I disconnected the site from Settings for an hour, and then reconnected it.

What can I do?

Hi there,

I have installed version 5.0 of Drupal and the version 5.0 equivalent of the Category module.

I have created a Container called 'Shows' and have then proceeded to create a Category called '24' which belongs to the 'Shows' category. However, when attempting to create the category, an error message is flagged up saying; An illegal choice has been detected. Please contact the site administrator.
