Post installation

Hello,

I've spent hours messing around with htaccess files without success - does anyone have a clue how I can do this?

I've spent the past two months creating a massive site in Drupal - we're coming close to launching it and I've only just thought about redirects from the existing Wordpress 1.5 site to our new Drupal 4.7.4 site on the same domain name.

I am having issues with setting up clean URLs.... According to my hosting company, 1and1, it should be working but it's not - I am using .htaccess file method - that's the one they support.

It looks it's partially working but I still get the ?q ...see below...

A little more background on my set up.
I have created a subdirectory /gmatmbainfo/ and this is my root directory that my doman points to...

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Hello Everyone,

I have found that there are some interesting bugs with 5.0 and I am looking for some cures.

In 2 of my sites that I have upgraded and found there is a problem with the theming and blocks.

I am not one of those types of individuals that can break a site with ease but I have run into a problem over the past 36 hours that does not make sense.

When I apply blocks to the right hand side of my site everything looks fine when I am on the administer block page but when I go back to the home page the blocks are all on the left overlapping each other.

On a clients site I was configuring a block then when I saved it the whole site jumped into the left column of blocks and the page is blank with only the logo at the top.

On this same site there are continue page not found errors for even though the images are there.

Lastly when I upgraded the clients sites with attached files from 4.7.4 they are not readable and I get white screen message that there is errors with in the file that prevents from opening.

On both sites the theming was working just fine until I added the IMC and tinyIMCE modules.

Even after disabling these modules the theming refuses to work.

I have taken the clients site back to 4.7.4 and all is well.

Hopefully this is an easy to fix issue, but why does 'n/a' appear on my home page just below the mission statement and above the first posting. I am using 5.0 and using the B7 theme. I've used numerous past version of Drupal, but this is the first time this has happened. The site is here: http://www.familiesinrecovery.org

I tried searching the forums for this, but was not allowed to search for "n/a".

Hello,

I'm a total newbie to Drupal. It's installed and i already have a basic site with some content, based on the zen-fixed template.

I have some pages and stories created. But now, i want to add some extra content. On some pages i wish to be able to add a picture inside the text. On others i want to place a Flash.

And i just don't seem to get how this can be done. I just need a very simple file upload and placing inside content.

What's the best approach for this?
