Post installation

I have upgraded my 4.7 drupal site to the 5.0 version and I am having this weird issue: all my admin menu items are doubled.

So now I have something like this:

- my account
- create content
- administer
- administer
--- site configuration
--- site configuration
...

anyone knowing what could have caused this and how I can solve it?

Hey guys I am having some issues with the 5.x calendar module. I have set it up and it has its own page, but I cant seem to figure out how to add an event. I also would like to know how to stop it from listing site changes since the calendar will be used for real world events.

I have set up a directory at www.wyreforestnetwork.org.uk/directory. I would like it so when my staff click create page it shows custom fields for the organisation ie address phone number time and days open.

But how do i make custom fields for page?

I have used blocks on the right and left side to place externally hosted ads from ad networks, but I would like to show a banner at the top of my page above my header. How would I go about doing this?

I created a custom CCK node, and i want all the latest ones of that type to appear in a block. Pretty straight-forward stuff, except that i want to format the template.

When i switch to list mode, which does generate the template, it outputs "0" for some of the fields, except for the title. I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong.

Hello everyone. I'm a newbie to the CMS (and in fact web site creation) game and decided to use Drupal after some research of the various open source CMSes. I'm building a site for a university music student club. http://www.orgsound.liway.com/drupal-5.0/
