Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

I changed my site's theme and my site vanished

Hi all,

I was playing around with some themes; I did nothing beyond uploading the files and switching the theme in the admin area. When I tried switching to the Aberdeen theme, my site vanished. I think now it was because the theme was meant for version 5 of Drupal. If I make this mistake in the future, how do I fix my site? Since there was nothing on my site I just deleted everything and did a fresh install, but I'd hate to have to do that in the future when my site is actually being used.

Thanks

Upgraded to 5.0, updated the database.... Sites work in Firefox but not IE 7!? In a panic, help please!

OK... I've been working on my senior project for college for over 2 months now. It has been located at http://411.chrisllorca.com for the duration of the project.

In that time, I have been using the same server, and its been hosting multiple projects for me including my own personal site.

Now, my client informed me that the site wasn't "loading" for her... and this made no sense to me because I was updating the site the whole time. I was using Firefox... so I thought maybe she's using IE7, so I try and load the page in IE7 and I get the following error message:

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.

What you can try:
Diagnose Connection Problems

More information

I'm in a total panic right now. After 2 months of development, my site is not accessible to anyone in Internet Explorer.

I'm not even sure where to begin. In Firefox I can browse the site fine, but not at all in IE7. In Firefox, I logged in, and checked the admin/logs to see if it would give me any clues... I did find an error message regarding "auto timezone" so I disabled the module... but it still won't load the page, and still wont give any details in the logs about what is happening.

Laying out a Node by Editing a Template

Hello,

I used Drupal to create a new type of node and added custom fields with CCK.

I would like to lay out the main content area of the node. Is the best way to layout nodes editing their template files?

My template file (themes/spreadfirefox/page-song.tpl.php) only contains this for the main content:

print($content)

Administrator menu not appearing. Please, help!

I installed drupal on windows XP and everything was working great. I created my front page with default theme and was trying to edit the menus that should appear on left hand side. Somehow, I unchecked some boxes while configuring and now , the menu that appears when I log in does not show administrator option. I can only see

Amadou theme--Resizing the sidebars

How do I resize the sidebars in the Amadou theme?

thanks
