Post installation

I've had it with the captcha/textimage module - nobody can post comments to my site and it is constantly bugging up. But if I turn it off I get barraged with spam that the spam module is letting through. I'm a loyal drupal user but am on my wits end!

I've decided to go with an external commenting service - Haloscan seems to be the top choice but they don't automatically integrate with drupal. I have some code for a manual install but am unsure where to put it. Has anyone had any luck doing this?

For the project module, is there some way of creating a link/menu item that will allow users to view just the project issues they have submitted after giving them the 'access own project issues' privilege but without giving them the full 'access project issues' privilege which would otherwise let them see all issues?

I've searched through the forums and online but can't seem to find anyone else who has needed to do this.

On my website, I'm using taxonomy context to browse through the content. I created primary links for every vocabulary, then taxonomy context is used for browsing through the terms.

I'm using taxonomy context because it's showing the subterms, which is very important.

On every term-page, I would like to show all the comments below the post, which makes a long list, but at least, you don't need several clicks to see the comments. Anyway, every post will only have a few comments at max.

what files should i edit to control the header and side bars of the site because i want to add adsense ads in it i am using a module but that is not showing ads in the center of the page also it only displays text ads i want to display image ads too.. so please give me the names of the pages i can edit to insert google ads on right and left nav bars and headers..

also how do people add adsense in the middle of the posts / articles?

Textimage never works even if letters are not bleeding off image. Captch sometimes works, but rarely. I've checked out the issues and people are still talking about hacking drupal core files to fix this (locking sessions). But that sucks since every time you upgrade you have to do it all over again. Seriously, hasn't anyone come up with an actual solution to a problem that seems to be widespread and longstanding??
