Post installation

Hi All,

I am newbie to Drupal. Can anyone guide me "How can i validate profile fields" like number only, email id only, etc. Thanks for your advice and patience with newbies like me.

I'm new to Drupal, have just about installed it and played with it for some days, installed modules, making functions, creating menus and pages. But what I can't figure out is how to make a menu with a sub menu and articles. For example this is somewhat of what I'm trying to do with the menu:

Is it possible to give a certain role an extra field with node types. What I'm aiming for is a role that is paid for which then allows users to add information inputted to the field which will display in the node. I guess this is possible with CCK but as i've got different node types already setup (video, audio, image) i'd prefer not to have to use it.

Any ideas?

I'm getting a really strange error in IE 6 which is coming up as an error on the page and breaking Javascript on pages which then has all sorts of impacts including causing TinyMCE not to show quoted text, menus to stop working etc.

Hello, i have installed spamspan a couple of days ago but found it did not make changes to email format, no worries removed emails address and thought i would look into later, but today when loading site Firebug suddenly reported an error with spamspan

My problem is that I'm traying to log-in into my drupal on a Debian Linux with the users that we have in our domain controler (Windows 2003-Active Directory) but every time I try it I've got this message: "Sorry. Unrecognized username or password. Have you forgotten your password?"

Can someone post the correct configuration of LDAP_Auth module for Active directory? (I've tried various but no success)

Do I need to change configuration on my Windows 2003 Server?
