Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

Images in a block

I'm moving a site from static html to drupal. One of the items I have to move across is a set of 4-5 sponsors logos. I'd like to be able to put these in a block but cannot figure out how to do that.

Can anyone help?

Thanks
Chis

Problem installing half of my core-optional modules

Recently I upgraded from 4.7 to 5.0.
When I look in administer-> site building -> modules I see just half of the core-optional modules that I uploaded.
These are the modules I see on my screen: Aggregator, Book, Color, Comment, Forum, Legacy, Poll, Search, Tracker and Upload
I also added another module (audio). It appeared on my screen and I was able to install it.
I thought another upgrade to 5.1 could help but it didn't.

Any ideas? This is the site I'm talking about: http://laurens.yurx.com

Blog access

Hello,

I am building a community website. I have different type of users (roles) that have different rights.
I am trying to use blogs. I need three diferent ones, for three different roles.

By reading documents found on this website, I created a taxonomy 'blog' to tidy the different articles in the different blogs.
It works preatty well. I have a node called blog entry and I choose the right term for the article to go in the rihgt blog.
Then, I do links to the blogs in different blocks which appears if you have enought rights.

Contact.module

Hello,

I want to create a page with contact form and additional static info in it. I have configured contact module, and I wonder if there is a way to use it in a/with a node.

Thank you for you time,

Maksim.

Forum Problem, Configuring Access

I'm using Drupal 4.7.3. I have successfully created a forum. What I want to do is to limit POSTING new comments to registered users, but to let everyone read the items in the forum. What I'm seeing now is that if you are not a registered user, you can see only the topics in the forum but not the replies. I'd like anybody to be able to see all the contents in the forum but be blocked from posting their own content unless they are authenticated users. It should work just as the Drupal forum does. What do I have to do?

Drama with installing Event Module

Hello,

I am just teaching myself Drupal, but I have run into a wall trying to install my first non-core Module.

I am trying to install the Event Module. The first part of the instructions is:

"1. Create the SQL tables. This depends a little on your system, but the
most common method is:
mysql -u username -ppassword drupal < event.mysql"

I assume this means I am being asked to creat tables within phpMyAdmin, but I have no idea how to do this. I can open up phpMyAdmin, but am lost then in. My server uses phpMyAdmin 2.7.0-pl2.
