I was hoping that I'd get some advice here - apologies if this is the wrong place. I'd like to know if anyone has experience in, or suggestions regarding the following issue.

I have a 4.7 template (a slightly modified voodoo dolly) that I would like to convert to 5.0. Any idea how? Is there an automated way?

I want to pull profile information from the database and add it to any page. I'll be using Rep(lacement) Tag to do this. Using

how do I place city information (for example) to the above page?

I've set up my first Drupal site for local testing on WAMP. I'd also like to be able to set up test user accounts to get a better feel of how everything works and the user experience etc. Can't do normal signups since no mail server. I'm totally new to this and would like to know how best to set it up so I can create multiple user accounts with different permission for local testing. Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks!
