Post installation

how can I query the menu module to know when a specific page is displayed and who the parent of the page is (in the case of 'subpages')?

My intention is to display a header image for section A and all of its subsections, then for section B and its subsections a different image, etc.

I have a slight problem on my hands. Have tried editing base_url and such, without any luck.

The problem is that when i type www.example.com, i get this error:

I followed some other threads about the garland theme and private files (File System) but I can't seem to solve this issue. The color picker DOES show up but I get this error everytime I change the color or the logo image - immediately after saving changes:

I have tried and tried to create a home page and have my web addrees point to it. I want to be able to feature new content by categories and control the features with images...

At this point it shows me the latest things I have done when i am logged in and when I log out it sais Welcome to Drupal! I am not ready to have people come to my site to say the least...

I would like to add a node reference field to forum content and it seems like this might be possible using hook_form_alter and nodeapi. I have searched the site for code that I think I can modify for what I want, but I am wondering what the '#type' would be for node reference.

Hi does anybody have any idea how I can implement trackback for Drupal 5, the trackback module is currently only for 4.7. I am developing a blog as part of a site, but using Custom node via CCK rather then the blog module within drupal?

Any help would be appreciated.
