Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

Drupal site slowed down by spider requests

Hi,

we have a Drupal 10 site, hosted on the Azure cloud, that in the last weeks suffers constant attacks from Chinese spiders that create big problems to the nginx web server and to the Drupal portal.

These spiders ignore also the robots.txt file.

Have you ever had problems like this?

An how did you solve it?

Is this a problem that can only be solved at the firewall level or is it possible to manage it at the Drupal level?

Thank you very much.

Setting proxy in Drupal CMS version 9.5.11 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux release 8.9 (Ootpa)

Hi,

I am running Drupal CMS version 9.5.11 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux release 8.9 (Ootpa). I will appreciate if you can guide me to configure proxy in Drupal CMS version 9.5.11 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux release 8.9 (Ootpa). I have set the below proxy settings on a Linux installation using the below variables. Is it done via Drupal module or settings.php or any specific file to route web traffic through proxy.

Context-Sensitive Language Switcher in Main Menu

Hi guys,

hope all is well. Friday evening, Drupal time.

I am looking for a solution to integrate the functionality of the standard Drupal language switcher, which considers the context of the current page, directly into my main menu. I want users to be able to change the website's language while they are on a specific page, and for the switch to take them to the corresponding translated version of that page.

No admin styling after installing Drupal 9 & 10

After installing Drupal 9.5 & Drupal 10.2.2 at drupal9.local & drupal10.local through XAMPP with PHP 8.2.12, the admin screens have no styling.

They look like unstyled/unstructured HTML in Times New Roman.

There are no console errors, and hard-refreshing does not change anything.

During the installation, I chose the Minimal option. Does this mean zero admin styling/everything as a raw HTML list?

Drupal 7 has no such problem.

Help appreciated.

[Mitigated but not fixed] Some webform forms sent emails have incorrect DKIM body hash signature

Hi,

I’m experiencing trouble with some sent email DKIM signature. Presented as such it’s far from drupal but webform forms is the unique variation here. Let me elaborate :

I’m hosting a drupal 10.2.2 website with webform 6.2.2 (up to date at the moment I write these lines). It is running onto an Ubuntu server I do manage. It is as well up to date.
