upgrading from D5.3 to D5.16

We are upgrading from D5.3 to D5.16.

Do we need to install each minor release (eg 5.4, 5.5 etc) or can we just go straight to 5.16?

With thanks

"Parsed JavaScript file" locale related warning

Now as I just upgraded my site, in my watchdog I've got a lot of warnings whose message begin with "Parsed JavaScript file" and related to "locale" type.
Eg:

Best Audio Solution for Drupal 6?

I need to upgrade from Drupal 5 to Drupal 6, but I'm unsure what to do in terms of audio support. I'm a podcaster and have had podcasts on my site since before Drupal 5 was released using the Audio Module.

However, the Audio Module seems still not stable for Drupal 6. Also, I wonder if it is a deprecated approach?

Is there a new best practice for audio? So far, I see 3 ways to go:

upgrade settings.php

I downloaded 6.9 but noticed a security notice to upgrade to 6.10. I read the upgrade instructions are not turning out the way they should. Specifically step 10 of the instructions is where I'm having problems:

-----------------------------

10. Run update.php by visiting http://www.example.com/update.php (replace
www.example.com with your Drupal installation's domain name and path). This
step will update the core database tables to the new Drupal installation.

Note: if you are unable to access update.php do the following:

- Open your settings.php with a text editor.

- There is a line that says $update_free_access = FALSE;
Change it to $update_free_access = TRUE;

- Once update.php is done, you must change the settings.php file
back to its original form with $update_free_access = FALSE;

-----------------------------
