Upgrading Drupal

Updating from drupal 4.4 to drupal 6.x:

How do I do it? do I just find every version after it until 6.10? do I go from 4.4 to 4.7 then to 5.15 then to 6.10? I searched and couldnt find documentation on this but maybe I'm wrong. can anyone help me please?

I have just gone through an upgrade to Drupal 6.10 and at the same time updated ddBlock module to rc6.

Now ddBlocks aren't showing at all throughout the site?

Any help on what may have happened here?

I have just upgraded from 5.15 to 5.16. Everything works perfectly, except that some admin functions have disappeared from the menu.

So far I've found that admin/user/access and admin/build/views have disappeared from the menus. I can type admin/user/access into the address bar and get to it, but admin/build/views simply doesn't work. I only get the page title, "Site Building," and the rest of the page is blank.

This error is occurring on al of our websites after upgrading from 5.x to 6.9. I have tried going to 6.10 to resolve it but this opened up a whole new can of worms so we have maintained 6.9 for all sites.

I just noticed that the text in the select combo list in one of my exposed views filter is showing a lot unwanted text after upgrading CCK and Views modules. The view in question has a table layout and an exposed filter selection based on a CCK node reference field. The only thing text I want to see in the selection list is the node title (Element 1,2,3), which worked before upgrading.

Now it shows a lot of other stuff that I do not want to see, like:

This morning when I updated Drupal 5.12 to 5.16 (not doing the in betweens) everything messed up...

Also I updated following modules:

• cck
• backup_migrate
• contemplate
• date
• extlink
• fckeditor
• i18n
• nice menus
• quotes
• scanner
• taxonomy theme

Everyone who has the role editor, except for user1 cannot see the edit-tab anymore, and so cannot work on the site
abymore. This cannot continue :-(
