I'm dealing with an older site that is still running Drupal 7.59 with PHP 5.6 and it would need to be upgraded to Drupal 7.99 and work with PHP 8.0 at least. I'm pretty inexperienced with Drupal in general, is it simply a matter of replacing the files in the server with the Drupal 7.99 ones and executing update.php or is there more to it?
After upgrading to version 10.2, there are symbols that appear in various text elements that replaced apostrophes, hyphens, and quotation marks.
This is an example of what the symbols are -- ΓÇÖ in place of an apostrophe, ΓÇô replaced a hyphen.
If you edit and type the correct punctuation, it fixes it. But we have a lot of content and it would take a lot of time to fix it manually. Anyone have any fixes or having similar issues?
