Warning: 4.7.0-beta6 disables your full HTML site mission

Is this a bug or a feature? After upgrading to 4.7 beta 6 some of my HTML tags in the site mission are removed by system: An paragraph with a CSS class and two images. I think this comes from the updated phptemplate.engine and the filter_xss function (line 146). Extending the input format is not a solution.

I like to "misuse" the site mission for an individual front page in front of my promoted nodes, with all needed HTML and CSS. Unfortunately the front_page.module is not an alternative, because I can't promote nodes to front page with this module.

4.6.5 >> 4.6.6 Mission statement

My "Mission Statement", as entered via Admin>Settings contains HTML.

When using 4.6.6, the "mission statement" suddenly decides to strip HTML.

Switching back to 4.6.5 and the HTML is displayed again ok.

Any reason why 4.6.6 descides to strip out html ? Can't seem to find an
"issue" relating to the sudden change in behaviour.

Primary links

I moved to 4.7 beta and primary links are handled in a different manner. Well, after browsing through the forum, I figured out that. However here is the issue:

I used Pry Link block for my other sites (ex. one in blogger.com) - outside the domain. In 4.7, it seems that there is somekind of parsing done that it is possible to link only within the domain. Is there anyway I can link outside the domain?

Thank you very much
Joseph

Patches from 4.6.5 to 4.6.6 : CR/LF problem

Hi

I had some problems when applying patch http://drupal.org/files/sa-2006-002/4.6.5.patch on my 4.6.5 drupal installation.
All others patches worked well.

output :

Upgrade 4.7 Beta 6 issues visible following upgrade...

I wanted to start a thread, to centralize the visible issues when upgrading to Drupal Beta 6. For the beta testers...
This is to help people that just upgraded to Beta6 and have some things immediately and visibly broken...and need to find a fix quick...

1) Your menus have disappeared: This has been fixed by Steven
http://drupal.org/node/53857

Big thanks to Steven...saved me, I love my menus!

Upgrading Question?

How do I properly upgrade from 4.6 to 4.7 without losing information. Do I just copy the files over?

Thanks
Chris
